An old process required frequent changes of coiled material with small 600 foot reels that had to be manually changed every 10 minutes and then disposed of.   The coiling process also created waste as often material crossed over itself and created deformities.

Hi-Tech Extrusions created larger reusable wooden reels that holds up to 18,000 feet and employed payoff equipment to automatically dispense the product into the customers manufacturing process.   Our production process allows us to consistently produce the product to specification and coil it in a high quality manner. Further, coil run time increased from 10 minutes up to 22 hours and a substantial amount of labor was removed due to less frequent reel changes.
